In this show, Harvard University awarded scholar, author, and researcher Gabriela Rosa and guests explore the nuances of sexual desire, pleasure, and satisfaction in the context of partnered relationships with topical and unrestricted conversations that break through the taboos, scripts, and misinformation that for so long have dominated sexuality.
To encourage healthy dialogue while providing valuable content our audience wants to consume, we surveyed prospective listeners (August 2021) to learn more about our audience.
Here’s what we’ve discovered:
Key demographicsAge range: 27-58 years; the majority are 30-40 years
Gender: Female (95.1%),
Male (4.9%)
Sexual orientation: Heterosexual (88.1%)
Relationship status: Married and living together (75.4%) and mainly in long-term relationships - 5-8 years (32.8%) and 9-11 years (22.4%).
Although the majority of respondents said they are very satisfied with the general state of their relationship (34.9%), almost as many answered they are either dissatisfied (26.5%) or very dissatisfied (6%) with their sexual relationship.
69.8% of respondents reported they’d like to learn how to make sex enjoyable again, and increasing or matching a partner’s libido was a concern for 69.9% of this audience—frequently requested were ideas for foreplay (57%) and how to have a female orgasm with a partner (44.1%).
And because we also believe that mind-blowing, multiple orgasms are the birthright of every woman alive, in this podcast, we explore the ‘how tos’ on this and many other topics as well.
